I attended the Institute of American Indian Arts from 2001-2006. In that time I earned a BFA as well as my AFA, this flyer and detail from a booklet are from the graduating class of 2005-2006. The title of the show was Form and was held on the main campus gallery which was then called the Primitive Edge Gallery. My painting The Price of Freedom- The Human Cost is featured. I went through a Basquiat phase before I had any formal training and this piece is a reflection of that time period. Both it and another Untitled piece were sold from this exhibition to a private collector.
