In an effort to utilize this space and also leave a digital record of previous articles, flyers, announcements, et cetera, I am scanning and sharing images from my archive as it relates to my work. The article in this post is from the Oklahoma Gazette, dated July 20th, 2016. I was interviewed by Ben Lushen about the exhibition Savages & Princesses: The Persistence of Native American Stereotypes. One of my patintings was also featured in the article, a painted vinyl record from my ongoing series Heroes and Villains. At the time of this writing a new version of this exhibit is currently touring across the United States and was most recently shown at the Mississipi Arts & Entertainment Experience in Meridian, MS.
